The Basics

My name is Kelsey and I just graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia. Originally from Boulder, Colorado, I believe myself to be a true, peace loving hippie at heart, yet with a little inner city swag to keep things interesting. As a double major in International Business and German Language, I have a passion for travel, business, intercultural communication, and many other activities in and outside the classroom.

My Travels

SANYO DIGITAL CAMERAI have been fortunate enough to have traveled to over twenty countries in my short 23 years on this earth. It would not have been possible without the support of my parents and step parents, as well as numerous teachers, professors, and friends who have fueled this incredible addiction. It all began when I was 16 years old and participated in the German American Partnership Program. For the first time, I was a traveler, not a tourist. A love for Europe and German was sparked deep inside me, and this is a love I have never been able to shake. It has been the catalyst for my other trips that have taken me as far south as Queenstown, New Zealand, and as far north as Lulea, Sweden, and it will continue to lead me to places I never thought imaginable.

What’s Next?

DSC01287As a recent grad, my next big adventure is just around the corner. I will be moving to Australia in July of 2014 for one year, and that is only just the beginning. I have hopes of pursuing goals I have had since traveling to Germany for the first time in 2007: moving to Europe and pursuing German fluency. There are also a numerous corners of the world I have not yet ventured to, such as Southeast Asia, Africa, and South America. While I have a lot of goals and dreams, Australia seemed like a great place to start making them a reality.  Although the road will be long, the thrill of the adventure will never dull, and I am looking forward to the incredible opportunities ahead of me in what ever corner of the world they may take me!

✈,

Adventure On!
